Just returned from a family weekend at Millie's Cottage in Finchingfield, and it was a delightful experience! The cottage itself was inviting and equipped with everything we needed, including thoughtful extras like washing up liquid, toilet rolls, and even a welcome basket with delicious jams and cereals. My kids loved the cozy outdoor areas where they could explore and play, all while enjoying the view of the pond and the village green. The location was perfect-just a short walk to local pubs and the village shop. We all enjoyed spending evenings by the log burner at the Lion pub, where the atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming. The hosts even sent us a couple of messages to ensure our arrival was smooth, which was a nice touch. We're already considering a return visit, as the atmosphere truly felt like a home away from home for our family.
